When I first wrote these pages (April 2000) I was living and working in a mountain paradise - since then I've moved further west, but can still spend time in my favorite spot in all the world - Medlow Bath. Check the Oreades website for more details.
For those more interested in my life: I'm fourtyish (born '61 - a Pisces); the father of 3 great kids and eke out an existance as an Information Technology Consultant.

...some of the odd things that have happened to me during my working life:
Until 2001 I was working as a 'webmaster' for a branch of Telstra (a monolithic telecommunications company in Australia). My boss had very little idea what a webmaster was, and included a line in my JD which said something like: 'assist marketing in product development'. The result is that in addition to web authoring and programming, I've had some great adventures over the past few years, including:
